Mustard Glazed Pork Chops with Bean salad

Serves 4 people



  • 4 pork loin chops (250g each)
  • Oil for brushing


  • 2 tablespoons seeded mustard
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar


  • 440g can white beans, drained & rinsed
  • 1 red capsicum, finely diced
  • ½ cup baby basil leaves
  • 4 tablespoons vinaigrette dressing

To Serve

  • 200g snap peas, steamed


  1. 1.
    Heat frying Pan or griddle pan over a medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
  2. 2.
    Cook pork chops on both sides for 4-5 minutes depending upon the thickness. Once cooked allow to rest in the pan off the heat.
  3. 3.
    Whilst pork chops are cooking combine the mustard glaze ingredients in a small saucepan and stir over a low heat.
  4. 4.
    Just prior to serving, spoon the glaze over the pork chops to glaze.
  5. 5.
    Serve glazed pork chops with the bean salad and steamed snap peas.

Notes: This glaze may be prepared well ahead of time and kept refrigerated in a clean jar for up to 1 month.
